MEET ISABEAU

Isabeau Schlacher had always felt a deep connection to nature, hospitality and family. Growing up working in her mother’s restaurants in Chicago and spending long weekends in a small town in Michigan, she experienced both the hard work of city life and the appreciation of the country lifestyle. From a young age, she learned to treasure the simple beauty of the land coupled with the satisfaction of hard work. While in Michigan, she spent her childhood exploring the dense woods and wild fields that surrounded her family farm. And as she grew older, she realized she wanted to combine her love of nature and family with her passion for creating memorable experiences. This dream led her to back to her family in Southwest Michigan after college, where she now works directly with her aunt, Amelia Briske, owner and Artistic Director of Millcreek Wilde. By working side by side Amelia, she has learned first hand what it takes to create breathtaking and one of a kind memorable wilderness barn weddings.

Millcreek Barns Wilde is not any wedding venue; it is a magical place where love flourishes amid the enchanting surroundings. Nestled back off the road in a private clearing amongst trees you immediately feels its humble yet grand essence. The property boasted beautifully restored barns with unique charm. The older barn, used as the grand dance hall, is perfect for celebrations with its high ceilings, rustic chandelier, and dance floor. The dining room, opens up to the outdoors through French doors on three sides, offering a indoor-outdoor atmosphere with added warmth of the deep brown wood and the glow of hanging lights above. 

As the seasons change, Millcreek Barns Wilde continued to thrive, hosting weddings and celebrations that fill the air with love and laughter.
